Ms. Meghan Tokash


Ms. Meghan Tokash Meghan Tokash is an Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) at the U.S. Department of Justice serving the Western District of New York in the violent crimes unit.  She served as a judge advocate in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps for 8 years, where she prosecuted a wide range of cases relating to homicide, rape, sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse.  AUSA Tokash was selected by the Judge Advocate General of the U.S. Army to serve as one of fifteen Special Victim Prosecutors where she worked in the Army’s first Special Victim Unit at the Fort Hood Criminal Investigation Division Office and U.S. Army Europe/Central Command.  Previously, AUSA Tokash served as an Army trial defense counsel and as a civilian victim-witness liaison officer for the Department of the Army.  AUSA Tokash clerked for the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces.  She is a graduate of the Catholic University Columbus School of Law.  She earned her masters of law degree in trial advocacy from the Beasley School of Law at Temple University and received the honor graduate faculty award.
